Daniel Rosenfeld, better known as C418, became widely popular as the man behind Minecraft’s music and sound design. His compositions are full of beautiful melodies, all very soothing and slightly melancholic. The atmospheric and minimalist qualities of his music resemble the works of Erik Satie, but without the sarcasm – therefore, extremely chill. Even if you dislike Minecraft (but why?), C418’s work is still worth your attention, especially if you’re into ambient music.
